The Peckham BMX track was laid down In Burgess Park in 2013 and, with the influence of DJ and TV presenter and entrepreneur CK Flash, youngsters were taken off the streets and taught a neighbourhood spirit. A mentoring programme was also set up creating a success story of community involvement. Being coached in how to race is only a small part of this success story. The Club’s roll of honour since its establishment reads like the Who’s Who of BMX in this country. They are now actively fund-raising to build a club house and provide even better facilities. On 11 August 2018 in Glasgow Kyle Evans beat Kye White to take gold and silver medals in the European championships. They did this against international elite BMX athletes.
