The Royal Arsenal Co-op Society\u2019s shop in Southwark known as Co-operative House is being converted into luxury flats. Local activist John Beasley, who edits the Peckham Society News, says he is pleased with the way the building has been converted into housing. He explained that the developers were sympathetic to the old site, which was built in 1913, and have replicated some of the Co-operative House, in part, on the new development.
